Why Blog
Welcome!
My idea behind this blog is to marry my passions and my experiences of living in the District for over 30 years. My District years have included college, starting a retail store, real estate, running several local political campaigns, serving the D.C. government as a regulator and dedicating years to community service. I would like to see the blog develop as a tool to provide answers for questions such as parking, liquor issues, zoning, home repairs, who to call in DC Government for City Services, development issues, volunteering in the your community….etc.
As with many of you, we all have ways to get things done. I would like to build a blog community who take questions from our neighbors who may need suggestions, ideas or information to provide answers and solutions. Think of it as a blog providing a community service to your neighbors. No Opinions…just facts!
I hope to build a practical tool we can use. All insights into achieving this will be greatly appreciated.
